Super Email Verifier Editor's Review
Super Email Verifier is a small, yet very useful application to use when assaulted by SPAM email or in case you haven't updated your email listings. You can use the program to check the validity of email addresses. On one hand, it may help you discover SPAM messages, on the other hand it may help you update your mailing (customer) list.
Using the program is simple. After installation, you need to configure the program settings: that is, to set the DNS servers. You can click the 'Detect DNS' button to do this automatically. If the program can't auto-detect your DNS, you can check out the 'Help' section for further detailed information and guidelines. The next step is to import the email addresses you wish to check. You can only import TXT files containing the email addresses. The producer claims a 90 percent accuracy of the program. The program tries to connect to the found SMTP-servers and simulates the sending of message. After checking the validity of the addresses, the results can be exported to a plain text file.
Pluses:
Drawbacks / flaws: You need to carefully configure your firewall in order to set program permissions. For example, ZoneAlarm Security Suite reported the program as trying to access a spy website. I would have liked the option of manually entering an email address.
In conclusion: I found this program to be a useful tool which will help you maintain a clean and updated list of contacts.
